10 Best Indian Female Authors And Their Books

Along with the things, females don’t get deserved recognition in the field of literature. When talking about the Indian literature, we all have heard about the well known male authors, but there are some best Indian female authors who are far and mostly forgotten. From my own experience, I can say that the story written by the female authors are so much more realistic and raw. The oppression and neglect in the various fields have added so much confidence and emotions to their story, that it leaves a huge impact on the reader’s life. The manner in which they create and nurture a story soft and fierce at the same time. There are many great Indian female authors but I feel these women are changing the modern-day writing game.

  • Female writers deserve the attention you’ve given them.

I enjoyed a book called” The Kuanteyas” by Madhavi Mahadevan; the novel presents the events of the Mahabharata through the eyes of Kunti, the mother of the Pandavas. It is refreshing to read about a woman influencing her way through a male dominated world. I look forward to reading Madhavi Mahadevan’s book “Yayati’s Daughter”. Yayati’s daughter had divine powers to remain a virgin forever.
